Lantern Jar

I have sort of liking for lanterns.My mind goes crazy over these lanterns.So here's my first one and there are many more to come.For the first one I turned discarded Glass Jar into lantern.

Take glass jar and put glue all over outer surface and stick kite paper.Let it dry and decorate accordingly.Seal the surface with glue and water mixture.Put candle inside and your lantern Jar is ready.

Twig of roses

First post to craftygala..so the beginning should be from bunch of red  roses..

                    

I Found some dried tulsi twig in my tiny garden..thought for days.Then finally stuck with idea of revamping it into lively..twig of roses..

                            

Wrapped strips of newspaper around the twig and left it to dry.Paint it white.Made roses out of rolling newspapers strips with folding after every turn.Kept to dry and painted red in color.Finally pasted them here and there on painted twig.

                                   

Materials Used:  Newspaper,dry twig,glue,water resistance colors
